Sustainability

Sustainability and traceability
I work with responsible material use, durability and transparent production processes.
Materials and traceability
The main supplier of silver is Ravstedhus, in collaboration with the German refinery Allgemeine Gold- und Silberscheideanstalt AG (AGOSI). AGOSI is certified for Chain of Custody, which documents responsible and sustainable production processes throughout the value chain.
This ensures that the silver used meets high standards for quality, ethical trade and traceability.
Responsible production
The jewelry is produced in limited quantities or as individual pieces to avoid overproduction. Production is adjusted to demand and orders, which reduces inventory and unnecessary resource use.
All surplus silver that occurs in production is collected and melted down into new works. Other waste is sorted and handled in accordance with applicable regulations.

Durability and longevity
The work is based on traditional silversmithing techniques and is intended to last over time. The jewelry is made to be worn for a long time and maintained when needed.
Reuse and workplace
Reuse is a natural part of both the workshop and the gallery. Most of the furnishings are reused, as part of a holistic and responsible approach to resource use.
